Welcome.

It has been a long time since I first started writing on Medium and yet, this is my first introduction.

I discovered my passion for writing during my senior year of high school. Since then, I’ve explored different outlets to publish my own work, as well as read the work of others. Medium became an instant favorite of mine. Over the years, however, I lost interest in writing.

I went to college with the intention of entering the field of journalism. I absolutely loved writing, but after two years of being forced to write in class I was completely burnt out. I realized that I did not want to make this a career. I simply couldn’t do it.

Now, two years later, that passion I had as an 18-year-old has returned. This time will be different.

My page will soon be filled with articles, poems, opinions, and anything else I deem worthy to publish. It won’t be perfect. But it will be Me. I’m excited to get started.
